Chief Executive Officer
Eric Meier brings over 25 years of experience in the development of innovative software, medical devices, and drug delivery solutions. Prior to Owl Insights, Eric served as CEO of Cervel Neurotech, a non-invasive deep brain stimulation offering for the treatment of psychiatric and neurological disorders, until its sale to Rio Grande Neuroscience. Previously, he was Founder and CEO of Calypso Medical, a platform for the delivery of targeted external beam radiation treatment, which was acquired by Varian Medical Systems. Eric also led a variety of corporate development activities at Johnson & Johnson. Eric received his MBA from Stanford University.
Chief Product Officer
Darla Brown brings over two decades of experience in technology strategy and product development gained from leadership roles at web and software development companies. Darla has expertise in creating robust, scalable web products and building high-functioning engineering systems and teams. A co-founder of multiple digital startups in healthcare and media, Darla has firsthand experience in combining knowledge of product development with a deep understanding of user experience and interaction that improves clinical workflows and patient engagement.
Joe Schumm has extensive experience leading large, complex hardware and software development efforts within the networking and medical device markets for enterprises ranging from start-ups to Fortune 1000 companies. Joe is a leader in software process development and refinement, as well as in test strategies and methodologies that leverage metrics and continuous improvement to ensure organizational efficiency, product quality, and safety. He is a creator and champion of realizable differentiating product designs with a focus on simplicity, extensibility, usability, and return on investment.

Mark has over 25 years of executive experience in post-sales, high-value, B2B Software/SaaS solutions and brings an immense background of leadership skills and operational experience to help SaaS companies enhance their Customer Success capabilities. He has extensive experience deploying Customer Success Automation platforms and is a thought-leader in the CS community, serving as the Co-Chair of the Customer Success Governance counsel. Mark has held a number of executive roles at enterprise SaaS organizations. He serves on the Board of Advisors for Strikedeck and is a member of the Standards committee for The Customer Success Association. Mark earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
